PUPB is committed to assisting all staff in achieving their highest potential through company organized or external training. Internal training is both conducted in both classroom and in the field. New recruits are trained by attachments to experienced manager for on-job training. The company sponsors selected staff to attend external conferences and seminars. Visits are arranged to other company estates amd mills to obtain their views and ideas.

Student attachment training. The company assist student from various universities in undertaking practical work on their operating units. This assitance take the form of helping students with relevant projects for their university thsis or in giving basic understanding of plantation operations to equip them for future employment.
